A main piling ceremony was held recently to mark the launch of this built-to-suit facility, which will be developed by the TICON Logistics Park Company Limited, at the Rojana Industrial Park in Ayudhaya.

Bangkok, Thailand, January 13, 2010 - Work has started on a new 19-rai logistics park in Ayudhaya.
TICON Logistics Park Company Limited (TPARK) hosted the main piling ceremony for the built-to-order facility. The factory is being specifically developed for The Billennium Corporation Company Limited to support its logistics operations and nationwide distribution of F&N Dairies's products.

Back in November 2009, F&N Dairies (Thailand) Limited announced the award-winning third party logistics company The Billennium Corporation Company Limited would handle the logistics and distribution of its products. Following that decision, The Billennium Corporation asked the professional logistics facility developer to build a facility that met its exacting requirements on a location close to F&N Dairies' factory in Rojana Industrial Park, Ayudhaya Province.

On December 3, 2009, The Billennium Corporation Company Limited officially announced that TICON Logistics Park Company Limited (TPARK) would be its logistics facility developer and both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

TPARK has now been given the task of developing the logistics facility to meet The Billennium Corporation's requirements and specifications. The facility will be developed on Rojana Indusrial Park, which is strategically located less than 200 meters away from the F&N Dairies' factory at Rojana Industrial Park. The total land area is approximately 19 rai and the total warehouse area is 15,180 square meters. The facility will be ready for use by the end of June and The Billennium Corporation will start operating inside this warehouse on July 1, 2010. Having the facility close to its customer, The Billennium Corporation expects to reduce additional transportation costs, while aiming to achieve the highest efficiency and increases in service levels for their customer.
