The Logistics Model Awards 2009

At the 6th Thailand International Logistics Fair 2009
9-13 September 2009 at BITEC, Bangna
The Office of Trade Logistics, Department of Export Promotion (DEP), Ministry of Commerce, is now launching the Logistics Model Awards 2009, which is the 3rd event of its kind, to provoke awareness of logistics and supply chain development among local manufacturers, exporters, logistics service providers and the public. The activity is carried out to comply with the government's policy in enhancing the efficiency of logistics and supply chain operation in Thailand.  The contest is classified into 6 categories

Manufacturers/Exporters (Logistics Users)

  • Logistics Management for the Exports of Food and Agricultural Products
    i.e. cereal products (rice, corn), perishable goods (fruits and vegetables, flowers) and other products (frozen food, processed food, etc).
  • Logistics Management for the Exports of Industrial Products
    (i.e. electronics, automobile and spare parts, fashion goods)
  • Logistics Management for Small Business Exports
    (i.e. processed food, furniture and home decorating products)

Logistics Service Providers

  • Logistics Management for Integrated Logistics Service Provider
  • Logistics Management for International Freight Transport Service Provider
  • Logistics Management for Freight Forwarder/Freight Transport Agency

The criterion of judgment is based on main Key Performance Index (KPI) for logistics management including cost reduction, time, convenience, safety, reliability, competency, knowledge management and good governance

The Logistics Model Awards 2009 winners will receive a plaque and opportunity to promote your organization through media
